isn't only about getting cool, free stuff, it can be a lot of hard
work! Being sponsored is not a one-way street, where you suddenly
start getting high quality skate equipment because you can do some
slick tricks. We like people who live and breath the sport and have
most likely put years of their lives into skating. Like yourself,
everyone dreams of getting sponsored and someday becoming a professional
team rider. A select few have gone on to become true stars because
of their incredible talent, dedication and endless hard work. Most
have enjoyed the ride for a few years and then found a different path
in their life. A Sponsor Me video is a good way to start a relationship with our company. It gives us an opportunity to see your style, how advanced you are, and whether you have the ability to help promote us, yourself or, well... not. Being a sponsored skateboarder is not all about just being a great skater, it is also about spreading good will, educating, promoting (you and us) and beating the snot out of the competition! So before you decide to try to become a No Juan sponsored skater, take some time to decide if you are willing to foot your half of the deal. BTW other ways to be noticed are to enter and win contests, travel to other skate spots, skate with other sponsored skaters, and get involved with local skate shops. If you are seen and your skills and personality are outstanding, people will take notice. At this point you must ask yourself, "am I good enough to be sponsored yet?" There are a LOT of skaters in this world with talent and drive. As such this means you have to work even harder to make your dream of becoming a sponsored or professional skater a reality. In reality, we need each other. No Juan Home is a small, but exciting new player in the skateboard market. Our dreams are as big as yours. If you honestly believe you are at a level comparable to a v-e-r-y advanced amateur or nearly equal to that of a pro skater and are interested in becoming part of our sponsor program (which could very well lead to our upcoming Pro team!) then please take the time to make us a great video about you and your skating. |
